The ERP series is a positive-displacement roots (mechanical booster) vacuum pump whose two synchronous figure-8 rotors complete suction and exhaust without contact. A built-in bypass valve protects the pump by automatically discharging excess gas when pressure exceeds the allowable level, so it can start earlier in the pump-down cycle. Water-cooled options are available. It serves oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, aerospace, food, mining and laboratory duty, with speeds from 70 to 2,500 L/s.
