A heatless adsorption dryer removes moisture from compressed air by passing it through activated-alumina desiccant, reaching a pressure dew point of −40 °C at 0.7 MPa. One tower dries while the other regenerates using a small fraction of the dried air, giving continuous dry-air output under programmable time control. Low power draw, a low pressure drop and a built-in dust filter and silencer make it suited to electronics, pharmaceutical, instrument-air and painting applications. The range handles 1.2 to 160 m³/min.
