System Description
Oil-less scroll compressor technology is state-of-the-art and quickly encompassing the medical and healthcare markets. The attractive small footprint and ultra-quiet, efficient operation of these 100% dry compressors equates to longer pump life with easy, cost effective maintenance. The pumps are environmentally friendly since no hazardous waste oil disposal is necessary.
The high quality pumps we use are a V-belt design driven by TEFC motors. Each compressor is packaged with high temperature shutdown/alarms and air cooled aftercoolers with automatic separator drains. The units are air cooled, requiring no water for operation, saving substantial dollars per year in the cost of cooling water.
Our ICU Oil-less Scroll systems are constructed in modules for mobility, easy installation and service on your site. Each system comes equipped with an NFPA99 compliant drying, filtration and regulating system, dew point monitor, carbon monoxide monitor and any specialty items required for specific healthcare applications. We only use A.S.M.E. certified receivers – with interior coating and by-pass systems when required – and U.L. approved control panels. All ICU medical air systems are pre-plumbed and pre-wired for single point connections and meet or exceed NFPA99 codes and other required regulations.
